Tour Overview
Some journeys don’t need many days. They just need the right places. Mathura and Vrindavan are like that. You come here not to rush, but to slow down. To walk through lanes you’ve heard about since childhood. To stand quietly at temples where faith feels simple and close. In just two days, this journey lets you step into Krishna’s world without trying to see everything at once.
This tour is about moments, not checklists. Standing at Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura. Feeling the softness of Gokul’s sands. Watching lamps float on the Yamuna at dusk. Hearing temple bells in Vrindavan before the city wakes up. From the joy of Banke Bihari to the stillness of Nidhivan and the glow of Prem Mandir, this short journey leaves you calm, grounded, and carrying something gentle back home.
Day 1 – Delhi Pickup, Mathura & Gokul
We begin early from Delhi. The city fades behind you, and the road slowly opens into Braj. By the time you reach Mathura, the air already feels different.
Mathura doesn’t rush you. It lets you arrive.
At Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, you stand where the story began. People don’t talk much here. They just stand quietly.
Dwarkadhish Temple is alive with bells, colours, and constant movement. It feels festive, even on an ordinary day.
From Mathura, we drive to Gokul, just a short distance away. The town feels smaller, softer, more personal.
Gokulnath Temple and Raja Thakur Temple bring you closer to Krishna’s childhood days.
At Brahmand Ghat, the river flows quietly, carrying stories older than memory.
Raman Reti is just sand and sky, yet it stays with you.
Chintaharan Mahadev and 84 Khamba add stillness to the day.
As evening arrives, we return to the ghats for Yamuna Aarti. Lamps float. Prayers rise. No one is in a hurry.
You head back to the hotel for the night, tired in the best way.
Day 2 – Vrindavan & Return to Delhi
Morning comes gently in Vrindavan. Bells ring softly. Shops open slowly. The day feels devotional before it even begins.
Banke Bihari Temple is the heart of Vrindavan. One glimpse here feels enough, yet never enough.
At Radha Vallabh Temple, devotion feels quiet and deeply personal.
Vaishno Devi Temple adds strength and calm to the morning.
Nidhivan feels different. The silence here asks you not to stay long.
Radha Raman Temple carries centuries in its walls.
ISKCON Temple fills the air with chants and music that stay with you even after you leave.
As evening falls, Prem Mandir lights up. The light and sound show is slow, gentle, and surprisingly moving.
After that, we begin the drive back to Delhi. The journey ends, but the feeling doesn’t.
A Personal Note from Team Vrindavan Packages
We live here. These lanes, temples, and ghats are part of our everyday life, not just places we visit for work. That’s why we plan this 2-day Mathura Vrindavan tour with care, knowing where to go, when to pause, and when not to rush.
In Vrindavan, vehicle movement is restricted due to heavy crowds. This is normal here. We guide you comfortably using e-rickshaws and short walks, just like locals do, so you experience Vrindavan as it truly is, not from a distance.
Monkeys are part of Vrindavan’s reality. We don’t scare you, but we prepare you. Simple advice like securing glasses and belongings comes from real experience, not theory. We stay alert so small moments don’t turn stressful.
Cars cannot reach Dwarkadhish Temple, so you have 3 options: either you can go by boat (only for Rs 50-100) or you can take a rickshaw (Rs 10-20) or you can even walk.
At Goverdhan, parikrama is traditionally done on foot, and we respect that tradition. At the same time, we also understand health limits. For those who need it, e-rickshaw options are arranged with care, without judgment.
Above all, we believe trust matters more than speed or show. No hidden charges, no forced rushing, no unnecessary stops. We guide you the way we would guide our own family through Braj.
