A 7 day Mathura Vrindavan Agra Delhi tour package is a 6 night private pilgrimage that gives you three unhurried days in Braj, one full day at Agra for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, and Delhi on both ends, all by private air conditioned car. This is the Braj first version of the trip, so it skips Jaipur and spends the extra time where it matters: Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir, Krishna Janmabhoomi, and a real Govardhan parikrama. Darshan at every temple is free, and no official Banke Bihari VIP pass exists, whatever other operators tell you. Prices depend on your hotel tier and group size . What's Inside the Mathura Vrindavan Agra Delhi Tour Package: The Honest Braj First Route from a Born Brajwasi
Jai Shri Krishna. I am Gurudutt, born in Gokul Mahaban Bangar, and I have guided pilgrims through Mathura, Vrindavan, and the wider Braj for more than fifty thousand journeys since 2018. I want to be honest with you from the first line, because the temple town is full of pretty websites that promise things Braj cannot give. This page is the version I would plan for my own relatives coming from far. It is written the way I actually run the trip, not the way it reads best on a brochure.
Most seven day tours that carry these four names quietly turn into a Golden Triangle with a Jaipur detour, and Braj becomes a rushed half day. This package does the opposite. It keeps all four places, but it is deliberately Braj first, because the reason a pilgrim travels to this land is Krishna, not the marble of Agra, lovely as the Taj is. If you want the Jaipur version, I keep that as a separate trip so neither one is diluted.

Itinerary
My driver meets you at the airport or the railway station with your name on a board and a confirmed fare already agreed. We move to your Delhi hotel so you can rest after the flight. If you land early and have energy, we do a gentle evening, perhaps Akshardham from outside or India Gate, nothing tiring. The real journey begins tomorrow. Overnight in Delhi.
After breakfast we take the Yamuna Expressway, a smooth six lane road that is kind to elders and children, and reach Vrindavan in roughly two and a half to four hours depending on when we clear Delhi. We settle into the hotel, then step into Vrindavan for the first darshan. Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir with its evening lights, and ISKCON Vrindavan are the anchors of this afternoon. As the sun drops we sit for the Yamuna aarti at Keshi Ghat. Overnight in Vrindavan or Mathura.
This is a full Krishna day. In Mathura we visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the birthplace, and Dwarkadhish Temple, and we pause at Vishram Ghat where Krishna is believed to have rested. Back in Vrindavan we go deeper than the tour buses do, to Radha Raman where the akhand dhuni has burned since 1542, to Radha Vallabh, and to Nidhivan, which I present as living sacred belief and not as a ghost story. Overnight in Vrindavan or Mathura.
Today we circle Govardhan Hill. I say circle, not climb, because Govardhan is never climbed, it is revered by parikrama around it. Depending on your strength we do the full parikrama or the key darshan points by car with walking stretches. We visit Radha Kund and Shyam Kund and Kusum Sarovar, and if your legs and heart are willing we add Barsana and Nandgaon, the villages of Radha and Krishna. This is the day most seven day tours skip, and it is the day pilgrims remember most. Overnight in Vrindavan or Mathura.
After a Braj breakfast we drive to Agra on the expressway, roughly one and a half to two hours for about seventy kilometres. Agra is not open every day, so the plan bends around one hard fact: the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. On an open day we see the Taj, then Agra Fort, and in the soft evening light Mehtab Bagh gives the calmest view of the Taj across the Yamuna. Overnight in Agra.
Because the Taj is shut every Friday, I quietly flip the days if your trip lands on one. Here is exactly how I do it, so you never lose the Taj and never sit in Agra on a closed day.
If the Agra day would fall on | How I flip the plan |
A normal open day | Standard order: Braj days, then Agra on Day 5, then Delhi |
A Friday | I move Agra to the next open day and pull an extra Braj day or Fatehpur Sikri forward, so Friday is spent in Braj or on the road, never staring at closed Taj gates |
Your departure lands on a Friday | I front load the Taj earlier in the week and keep the final day for Delhi, so the Taj is already done before the closure |
We check out and, traffic and interest permitting, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital about forty kilometres from Agra, before continuing to Delhi in roughly four hours. Evening is at leisure in Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Depending on your flight, we see a little of Delhi, perhaps Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, or the Lotus Temple, keeping in mind that the Lotus Temple and Red Fort are closed on Mondays. Then my driver takes you to the airport or station in good time. The trip ends where it began, but you carry Braj home with you.
