Holi in March, Janmashtami around late August to early September, and Radhashtami are the most charged times, and they need booking well ahead. Getting here and getting around

Delhi to Vrindavan is about 150 to 180 km, roughly 3 to 3.5 hours by road on the Yamuna Expressway. Mathura to Vrindavan is only about 12 km, near 20 to 30 minutes. The detail most first-timers miss: private cars cannot enter the inner lanes near Banke Bihari. You park about 1 to 1.5 km away and finish on foot or by e-rickshaw.
