The original and ancient Vaishno Devi is the cave shrine in the Trikuta hills near Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, reached by the long climb from the base town, and nothing in Vrindavan replaces it. How to reach

The dham is at Chhatikara, on the main approach road into Vrindavan from the Delhi highway, which makes it one of the easier temples to reach. It is not the original Katra shrine, and I would rather tell you plainly than let the name mislead you.
