Vrindavan, the holy town of Krishna’s love, is the goal of the journey and it is a wonderful place to arrive. Combining Tundla and Vrindavan with Agra

Because Tundla lies close to Agra, only some twenty five kilometres from the city of the Taj Mahal, many pilgrims who arrive at or depart from Tundla take in Agra as well, seeing the wonder of the world along with the holy land of Krishna. A common and rewarding plan is to see the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, then travel on by the expressway to Mathura and Vrindavan or the reverse, making one journey of the Taj city and Braj. When to travel

The cool months of October to March are much the best for the journey and for a visit to Vrindavan, pleasant for the drive and for the temples and ghats. The great festivals of Krishna, Janmashtami in the late monsoon and Holi in the spring, fill Vrindavan with joy and with vast crowds, so if you travel then, expect the trains to Tundla and the roads to be very busy and book well ahead.
