Morning in Mathura: Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish. Start at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, then Dwarkadhish Temple in the old city, with Gita Mandir on the way if time allows.

The Janmabhoomi detail most first-timers miss

Krishna Janmabhoomi runs airport-style security. Phones, bags, cameras and food are not allowed inside; everything is deposited at the cloak room. Build in fifteen to twenty minutes for the line. Knowing this before you arrive saves the most common wasted hour of a Mathura trip.

Dress modestly, with shoulders and knees covered, and wear shoes that slip off easily because you will remove them at every temple. How many days do you need in Mathura? A same-day trip covers the Mathura core and the headline Vrindavan temples if you start early. Two days lets you slow down and add Govardhan or Gokul. Three to four days is right for Barsana and Nandgaon without rushing. Most families choose two days.

Cancellation: cancel 48 hours or more before the tour for a full refund of the advance, minus a 5 percent processing charge; cancel 24 to 48 hours before for a 50 percent refund of the advance; inside 24 hours or a no-show is non-refundable, as the car and driver are already blocked for you.
