Agra: the city of the Taj Mahal

Agra was the great capital of the Mughal empire and it holds some of the finest monuments in the world. Its glory is the Taj Mahal, the white-marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan for his beloved Mumtaz Mahal, one of the wonders of the world and most magical at sunrise.
