Barsana tour packages and prices
Every price is per person and quoted upfront on WhatsApp, with no hidden charges. Barsana is almost always visited with Govardhan, Nandgaon and the Mathura-Vrindavan temples, so the packages below pair it the way pilgrims actually travel. Browse all durations on the tour packages hub.
Package | Duration | From (per person) | Best for |

2 days | ₹3,500 | Mathura and Vrindavan plus Barsana | |

What every Barsana package includes
Air-conditioned transport sized to your group, a local Braj guide, darshan support at the Radha Rani Temple and the other shrines, and free cancellation. Every trip runs by private car: a sedan for four, an Innova or Ertiga for six, a Tempo Traveller for twelve. Because Barsana is too far for an auto and the climb needs planning, the private car and the local guide are the heart of the package, not extras. Multi-day trips add a temple-side hotel.
What is not included
Meals not listed, temple donations and optional poojas, the ropeway or palki charge at the hill, and personal spending. All quoted upfront, never hidden.
What changes the price
Season, room occupancy, group size and hotel category. Twin sharing lowers the per-head cost. Lathmar Holi and Radhashtami cost more and book out months ahead.
Choose your Barsana tour
Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon in one day. The classic western-Braj day by private car, from ₹1,999 per person. See the Govardhan Barsana Tour.
Barsana on a two-day Mathura and Vrindavan tour. Add Barsana to the core Mathura and Vrindavan darshan for a fuller trip. This is what most searchers mean by a mathura vrindavan barsana tour package.
Barsana on a three to four day Braj circuit. The unhurried route that adds Gokul, Govardhan, Nandgaon and Agra around the Barsana and Mathura-Vrindavan core.
What a Barsana tour covers
A short orientation for first-time pilgrims, with the full detail in our Radha Rani Temple, Barsana guide.
Radha Rani Temple (Shriji, Ladli Ji)
The hilltop Shriji or Ladli Ji temple is the rare Braj shrine where Radha is the primary deity and Krishna is worshipped beside her as Ladli Lal. It crowns Bhanugarh hill in Barsana, Radha's own town, a red and white sandstone temple in the Mughal-era style.
The climb: steps, ropeway, palki and lift
The sanctum is about 200 to 225 steps up the hill. A ropeway, a palki and a lift are available, and a car can take you most of the way up. We plan the ascent for the cool morning or the evening slot.
Comfortable for elders and wheelchair visitors
Tell us who is travelling. We arrange the ropeway or the drive to the upper point and a patient pace, so elders reach Ladli Ji without the full climb.
Kirti Mandir, Prem Sarovar and the four hills
Beyond the main temple, a Barsana tour can take in Kirti Mandir, the temple to Radha's mother, Prem Sarovar, the lake of divine love, and the four hills held to be the four faces of Brahma.
Nandgaon, the other half of the story
Nandgaon, Krishna's boyhood town, is 8 to 10 km away and is the other side of the Lathmar Holi. Most Barsana tours pair the two.
Barsana tour packages for Lathmar Holi and Radhashtami
Barsana is at its most charged for its two great festivals, and both need booking months ahead. Lathmar Holi, where the women of Barsana drive back the men of Nandgaon with sticks, draws crowds from across the world. Radhashtami, Radha's birthday, is the temple's supreme day, when the hill is lit and the queues run long into the night. Ask us for the festival dates and a package built around the crowds. See the Radhashtami Barsana Special.
How to reach Barsana on your tour
Barsana is about 45 km from Mathura and about 50 km from Vrindavan, roughly an hour by road, with Govardhan about 20 km away and Nandgaon 8 to 10 km. From Delhi or Noida it is roughly a three-hour drive via the Yamuna Expressway. Because the last stretch and the hill need a proper vehicle, we cover it all by private car. Routes and drive times are in our Delhi to Mathura travel guide.
Best time for a Barsana tour
October to March is the comfortable window for the climb and the weather. Summer is brutally hot for a hilltop ascent. Lathmar Holi and Radhashtami are the peak and the most crowded times, so book well ahead. See our best time to visit guide.
Why we are a reliable Barsana tour operator
Barsana is exactly where a Braj-based operator earns its place: too far for autos, with a hill climb and darshan hours that a local plans around. Founder Gurudutt was raised in Gokul and has guided these towns since 2018. Every trip is a private car, never a shared bus, so your darshan timing stays in your control. We are a unit of Experience My India, recognised by the Ministry of Tourism and UP Tourism, an IATO and ADTOI member, ISO 9001, MCA, GST and Udyam registered, GSTIN 09BZFPM8067A1Z9. Read the reviews on our Google Business Profile and Tripadvisor.
This Barsana tour is not for you if
You want to visit Barsana alone by auto. It is too far and the hill needs a proper vehicle; Barsana is best paired with Govardhan and Nandgaon or a Mathura-Vrindavan trip.
You cannot manage any climb and do not want the ropeway or the drive to the upper point. Tell us first so we plan it.
You want guaranteed quick darshan during Lathmar Holi or Radhashtami. The crowds are real, and we tell you the truth about wait times rather than promise what no operator can.
Barsana tour packages by starting city
Tell us where you are starting and we build Barsana into the route.
Delhi and Noida: a same-day Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon run, or a two-day Braj trip.
Agra: pair the Taj with a Braj day that includes Barsana.
Other cities: see our from-city packages.
Plan your Barsana darshan
Tell us your city, dates and group size. A Braj local replies within 2 hours with a fixed plan and price, times it around the darshan hours, and brings a vehicle that handles the hill. Barsana tour packages from ₹1,999 per person, private car, local guide, no hidden charges.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Barsana tour package cost?
From ₹1,999 per person for a one-day Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon tour by private car. Multi-day trips that add Mathura and Vrindavan cost more, and the full figure is fixed in writing before you pay.
Can I visit only Barsana?
You can, but it is best paired with Govardhan and Nandgaon or added to a Mathura-Vrindavan trip, because Barsana is about 45 km from Mathura and too far for an auto.
How hard is the Radha Rani Temple climb?
About 200 to 225 steps. A ropeway, a palki, a lift and a car route to near the top are available, and we plan the ascent around your group.
When is Lathmar Holi at Barsana?
In the days before the main Holi. Dates shift each year and rooms book out months ahead, so ask us early.
Is a Barsana tour good for elders?
Yes. We use the ropeway or the drive to the upper point and a patient pace so elders reach Ladli Ji comfortably.
Do you include Nandgaon and Govardhan?
Yes. The one-day western-Braj tour covers Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon together.
